Professional Competency Test (pCT)
The Professional Competency Test (pCT) is an independent situational assessment on the iP121 platform. It explores choices made in described workplace situations and provides a starting point for a development conversation.
Content updated:

Four competency areas
- Development orientation: curiosity and a methodical approach.
- Stress management: composure and optimism.
- Planning and organising: consistency and strategy.
- Leadership: proactivity and organisation.
The report presents results separately for each area and describes eight competency aspects. These English labels explain the aspects shown in the Polish sample.
What is in the pCT report?
The individual report includes percentage-scale results, interpretation and development recommendations. Practical action-planning worksheets help the participant choose a focus and identify steps to try in everyday work.
The report is available online and as a PDF. The public sample currently provided here is in Polish and shows the result layout, interpretation and development worksheets.
From results to a development conversation
- The participant responds to described workplace situations.
- The practitioner reads the individual report.
- You discuss the findings in relation to the participant’s experience and goals.
- You select development actions and record them in the worksheet.
- You revisit the plan to discuss what happened when the actions were applied.
pCT and the Insightful Profiler questionnaire
These are two separate assessments. Insightful Profiler™ describes predispositions, needs and preferred working style. pCT explores choices in described workplace situations. It can be used independently or alongside questionnaire findings, including with people who have already completed iP121.
pCT has its own responses, scoring, session and licences. Insightful Profiler norms and psychometric indicators do not describe pCT. A situational assessment result should be considered alongside a conversation and experience; it is not a direct observation of workplace behaviour.
