iP121 for HR, recruitment and employee development
iP121 helps HR practitioners and managers structure conversations about a candidate’s or employee’s needs, predispositions and working style. Findings support question preparation and development planning in the context of a specific role.
Content updated:
Recruitment — from a profile to useful questions
The iP Coach report helps relate needs and predispositions to a candidate’s experience. Fit analysis provides a starting point for discussing role requirements and the working environment.
For example: “In which tasks do you make the best use of autonomy? Tell me about a specific situation.” Compare the response with role requirements, experience and other assessment methods.
Employee development — agree on a direction
The report helps identify conditions that support engagement and areas to explore. Discuss which findings the employee recognises, which goals matter to them and what they would like to change.
Agree on a practical action and a time to revisit it. A profile description does not replace action or feedback from actual work.
Supporting managers
iP Manager provides considerations for collaboration, motivation and delegation. It helps prepare conversations about autonomy, expectations and working conditions.
Working with a team
Synopsis compares profiles across twelve scales, highlighting similarities and differences for a workshop conversation. Discuss behaviours and expectations in the actual team rather than assigning fixed labels to people.
Adding a situational assessment
The independent pCT test explores choices in described workplace situations across four competency areas. It can complement work with the Insightful Profiler questionnaire. It is a separate assessment with its own report.
Questions and answers
Does iP121 make a hiring decision?
No. Findings are one source of information and should be considered alongside conversation, experience and role requirements.
Does a strong need for influence establish leadership competency?
No. A need, a predisposition and a developed competency are different. Evidence about actual behaviour is also needed.
Can I compare team members’ profiles?
Yes. The Synopsis team report shows similarities and differences across twelve scales.
How can I see the platform in practice?
Request a presentation and demo. We can relate the demonstration to recruitment, development or your team’s work.
